I worked with Codemasters as a contractor to assist the audio team with the development of the family-orientated kart racer F1 Race Stars, which was released for Xbox 360, PS3 , PC and Wii U. I was given ownership of the environmental audio for 6 of the tracks and had to determine how best to enhance the light-hearted and humourous mood for each of the tracks in question through the use of audio.
I worked closely with the other development teams to determine what audio assets would be required for various areas, obstacles and animated objects within each track. I then had to ascertain the best ways to create and implement them into the game using the custom in-house tools.
