I was part of the Audio team at Creative Assembly on the fantasy turn-based strategy game Total War: Warhammer 2. The game is part of the Total War series and is a follow up to the 2016’s Total War: Warhammer. The game is set in Games Workshop’s Warhammer Fantasy fictional universe.
The game features turn-based strategy and real-time tactics gameplay similar to other games in the Total War series and centres around control of the Great Vortex in Ulthuan. The Vortex campaign features a narrative storyline for each of the races as they cast rituals to either stabilize or control the Great Vortex.
I was heavily involved in numerous areas of audio asset creation and implementation for the game, which included: creatures, weapons, artillery, magic spells, UI, foley, ambiences and more. My proudest achievement for the game though was creating and implementing the audio for the Campaign map, which added more detail and more sophisticated audio systems than were used in the games in the series.
